For foreigners living in SlovakiaChild benefit in Slovakia: translation of your documents
If you work in Slovakia and apply for child benefit, the Labour Office (Úrad práce, sociálnych vecí a rodiny) asks for your foreign documents with an official translation into Slovak. I translate the whole set from English, with the official seal.
Documents people usually need
- your child’s birth certificate
- your marriage certificate
- a notarised affidavit (sworn statement)
- any other document the office asks for
Before you translate: ask the office for the exact list of documents and whether they need an apostille. Get the apostille in the country that issued the document before the translation, so I can translate it together with the document.
Price
From €20 per document. Each of these documents usually has one page. Send me photos of the whole set and I will reply with one price within 24 hours.
How it works
- Send a photo of your document on WhatsApp or by email. I reply with the exact price and the date it will be ready.
- Bring the original or a notarised copy to my office in Trnava, or send it by post.
- Collect your official translation. It is bound to the document with the Slovak tricolour ribbon, signed and sealed.
